I rode my Tuesday route on a nice rural loop that goes around the Uvas and Chesbro reservoirs, plus round trip on the Casa Loma road to the start of Rancho Canada Del Oro Open Space. The stretch north to Casa Loma was tough as it was several miles against a stiff headwind. We did our amateur imitation of a tempo line along that stretch. A fun but challenging three hour ride.
This is the parking lot of the Uvas Reservoir. The lake is quite full, and a beautiful blue color.
Another peak at Uvas and the cattle ranch across the road.
