Many energy drinks are like Coke, which is why we are aware of the damage a Coca-Cola bottle can do.

But Bang’s energy drinks have recently become more popular and differentiate themselves from other drinks, mainly because they are advertised as containing super creatine.

When my clients asked about my opinion about this drink, I did a lot of analysis of the components of the glass and whether or not it was healthy.

Does Bang Energy Drink contain creatine?

Creatine In Bang Energy Drink Super Creatine

I’ve checked both the Bang label and their website, but I can’t figure out the exact amount of creatine in the drink.

Based on the ingredient list, the creatine content and other amino acids can range from 4 to 30 mg.

Most energy drinks contain small amounts of creatine, ranging from 0.84 to 1.21 mg (other amino acids are not included).

The amount is not harmful, but it can help improve fitness and training.

However, VPX, the company behind Bang energy drinks, has not disclosed how much creatine the glass contains. This is disturbing.

While it is acceptable to consume 5mg or more of creatine per day, excessive amounts can cause side effects including diarrhea, weight gain, kidney problems, weight gain and many more.

Bang Energy Drink Ingredients

Bang Energy drink Creatine

Bang claims to have no sugar, no calories, and no carbohydrates; However, it contains supplements such as caffeine, creatine and BCAA that athletes use.

Before I delve deeper into these items, especially supercreatine. Let’s take a look at what Bang’s energy drinks are made of.

Let’s break down the nutrition facts of this artificially sweetened low-calorie energy drink:

No proteinNo fiberSome vitamins

If you’re wondering why Bang tastes like the energy drink, especially if it doesn’t contain sugar, the solution is sucralose. Sucralose is a synthetic sweetener that is between 320 and 1000 times sweeter than table sugar.

Don’t count on Bang for the other ingredients being a good filling drink. Of course it contains many vitamins. However, unless you’re on a strict diet, you’re probably not deficient in vitamins B and C, so they’re not the most beneficial in Bang drinks.

If you have no prior knowledge of chemicals, most of these ingredients will not be very important to you.

So I’m breaking down the most essential components, starting with the introduction of supercreatine.

Super Creatine

How much creatine is in Bang Energy Drink Super Creatine?

Before we get into the topic of Super Creatine, let’s take a look at what exactly creatine is. Muscle cells naturally make creatine to boost energy during vigorous exercise.

It is one of the most famous supplements for bodybuilders and athletes because it:

Accelerate muscle growthReduced blood sugarImprove the function of your brainImprove energy production

One study has shown that creatine supplementation improves fitness performance by 10 to 15 percent.

VPX states that the super creatine supplement is a type of creatine that is bound to L-Leucine. This is a form of amino acid that makes proteins in the body.

VPX advertises super creatine as the ‘world’s only water stable creatine’. This means that supercreatine can easily cross the blood-brain barrier and promote concentration and mental clarity.

But this ingredient is not FDA certified, nor have I been able to find any scientific studies on the subject, so I take the benefits of supercreatine with a grain of salt.

VPX does not disclose how much creatine energy drinks exist. However, according to the amounts of other ingredients, there is most likely between four and 32.5 mg of creatine and other amino acids.

The safest dosage is about 5 g per day; this amount present in Bang will not cause any significant adverse effects.

Benefits of super creatine

Super Creatine does have benefits if you consume it before and after exercise, for example:

Increases the speed of muscle recovery, both during and after exercise. Helps focus your mind while exercisingFitness Boots Boots

Note: These benefits are most often demonstrated when supercreatine and creatine are combined.

As VPX states, supercreatine is water soluble, which is an added benefit as it allows your body to absorb supercreatine faster than regular creatine.

It is also absorbed more quickly by the brain, which improves mental concentration.

Please remember that this information and the claims have been vetted by the FDA; Therefore, if it works for you, then that’s good. If not, try switching to another product.

Caffeine

The drink is a source of 30 mg of caffeine for 16 oz. That’s three cups of caffeine in just one bottle or bottle of energy drink.

A review of 700 studies of caffeine consumption has shown that 400 mg is the recommended daily dose for healthy individuals.

Drinking more than 400mg of caffeine is unlikely to cause an overdose. However, taking 300mg of caffeine in just a few minutes can cause jitters or anxiety.

Caffeine and creatine have been found to reduce the effectiveness of creatine.

The amount of caffeine Bang drinks made me question the effects of his creatine.

BCAA

BCAAs are branched chain amino acids, a popular supplement for athletes.

Three types of BCAAs found in energy drinks:

BCAA benefits include:

Help prevent muscle lossReduce fatigueHelp muscles grow

Bang Energy Drinks Super Creatine Litigation

In 2018, VPX Sports was sued by ThermoLife International, LLC, a manufacturer of athletic nutrition and supplements. ThermoLife stated that VPX is misleading the world and its customers through deceptive advertisements.

Super Creatine is not creatine. It’s not an ingredient in creatine, and despite their deliberate false marketing, VPX and Owoc know this.

Ron Kramer, founder of ThermoLife.

They mainly complain about supercreatine. they claim that:

Supercreatine is not a form of creatine. Supercreatine does not make creatine when ingested.

The complaint further states that it is not a bioavailable form of creatine and that VPX is a ploy to take advantage of customers who believe that supercreatine performs similar functions in the body to creatine.
